Chrysovalantou Moutzoureli has a first degree in Biochemistry and Biotechnology, from the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology (DBB), School of Life Sciences, University of Thessaly, Greece. She then got a MSc in Integrated Plant Protection & Environmental Management Systems, from the Faculty of Crop Science of Agricultural University of Athens, Greece. She is a PhD student in the Laboratory of Plant and Environmental Biotechnology, at DBB, under the supervision of Prof. Dimitrios Karpouzas. Her scientific interests are focused on the field of soil microbial ecology and especially on the impact of biological and synthetic nnitrification inhibitors on soil microbiome and greenhouse gas emissions.
