Evangelia Papadopoulou is an Assistant Prof. in Environmental Microbiology at the Department of Environmental Sciences, at University of Thessaly, Greece. Her work mainly focusses on the environmental fate and behaviour of agrochemicals, both pesticides and nitrification inhibitors, and their interactions with soil microorganisms, and especially those driving N cycling. She has (co)authored 23 publications in peer-reviewed journals (Citations: 546, h-index: 14). She has participated in several EU (MSCA-IAPP-FP7), national funded projects (BIOREMEDIATOMICS – ARISTEIA II; HFRI) and industrial projects.
